In build — the price is the promise

One flat price. However many students enrol.

Class, enrolment and invoicing software for dance, music, martial arts and kids' activity studios — 19 kr a month for the whole studio. No per-student fees, no tiers to cross, and nothing that can bump your bill in the middle of a semester.

“Three more students, and the bill went up.”

Nearly every class-management platform prices in tiers measured by your student count. It reads as a flat monthly fee and behaves like a per-student one: cross a threshold and the price steps up — usually in the middle of a term, after your class fees are set and your invoices have gone out.

The 2026 comparisons say it plainly. Entry plans start around $49 a month for a small roster, the cost “climbs meaningfully” as a studio reaches 200, 300, 400+ students, and owners report hitting the next pricing tier unexpectedly mid-term. The thing that makes your studio healthier is the thing that makes your software more expensive.

What the 19 kr covers

The operation a studio actually runs: a term, a timetable, a register and an invoice. This is the build list, in the order it is being built.

Enrolment

A form a parent finishes on a phone, straight into the right class — siblings and waiting lists included.

Timetable and capacity

Terms, classes, rooms and teachers, with the class size you actually allow.

Attendance

A register that works in a hall with no signal and syncs when you are back.

Term invoicing

One run per term, sibling and multi-class handling, receipts the parent can find again.

Vipps and Stripe

Parents pay how they already pay. The money goes to your accounts, not through ours.

Your data, exportable

Students, classes, attendance and balances out in one click, any day, including the day you leave.

Questions studios ask first

Why is it only 19 kr a month?

Because that is close to what one studio's account costs us to run, plus a small margin. A studio with 40 students and a studio with 400 use the same forms, the same calendar and the same invoice run — the cost of serving them differs by a rounding error, so the price does not differ either.

Is there a per-student fee or a bigger plan later?

No. There is one price for the studio and no tier boundary anywhere in the pricing, which is the entire reason this exists. If we ever have to charge for something extra, it will be a separate thing you choose, not a threshold you cross by growing.

Can I use it today?

Not yet. Semesterstart is in build. The price and the promises on this page are what it is being built to, and the interest list is how you find out the day studios can move in.

What about the payment fees?

Vipps and Stripe charge their own fees on the money your families send you, on your own accounts. Any platform that says payments are free has put those fees inside your subscription.

Which studios is this for?

Private dance, music, martial arts and kids’ activity studios — the ones that run terms, registers and invoices, and are tired of their software bill following their enrolment upward.

Told once, when it opens

Semesterstart is in build. Leave your studio and an address and we will write to you the day it takes its first studios — and, if you tell us what you run on now, that goes into what gets built first.

One email when it opens. We do not sell the list and there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
